 YOYOYO WHATS GOOD CHAT??


Been a pretty solid week. Lots of learning and growing.
I am starting to get along with the trio, so thats good, but they can still be a pain in the butt. I'll live. 

Starting to learn how to get around and getting used to the schedule (Waking up at 6:30 instead of like 3 is a huge upgrade) So that's good. The food is still killing me everyday... maybe I can get skinny or something idk hahaha.

Dude theres some rude snotty little boys here it's actaully insane. We are at dinner and theres a sign on the drink fountain that says "Closed For Cleaning" and this group of guys next to our table got up to use it and Elder Brown politely said "hey guys that one is closed for cleaning right now"
...
The entire table started laughing and making fun of him for it, saying stuff like "Dude we own this place" "We've been here for 6 weeks" and for the next 30 min anytime someone went to use the fountain they yelled out "HEY THAT FOUNTAIN IS CLOSED FOR CLEANING" and proceed to laugh and mock, and point fingers at Elder Brown (cringe I know) This really pissed me off. Like what in the World? Who do you think you are? I mean maybe in highschool but at a "Missionary Training Center" Is just wild... Daddy def made them go on their missions they don't want any part in being like Christ. Buncha Goofies if you ask me. Made me super grateful for my district. They aren't stuck up. Sure they have their wack moments but they are here to help themselves and others. Also guess who has now taken over the little snakes' table. MY DISTRICT. We sit there at every meal and they get SO pissed. it's funny bahahahaa

Basketball: I started playing some casual pick up games in my free time. It's fun...until it's not. It started off super chill, just like a little 3v3 game. first game went smooth. Second game was new teams. It was me, and two randoms that seemed to never have really played before, and thats okay. All three on the other team were bigger and taller than me. One HUGE polynesian guy (Elder Hansen) and two other rude white boys (I can't remember names because they are irrelevant later on) ... Anyway, the game starts off normal, we are up 5-0 (My 3 and a 2) when one of the white boys starts getting SUPER agressive on defense against me. Litteraly slapping my arm and trying to full on punch the ball away from me I was like "Yo bro you need to chill out it ain't that deep" because I'm not trying to get hurt. He keeps playing like a psycho so I'm just like whatever. We were playing to 21 and it kept going back and forth with who was scoring so it got even more intense. Finally we are at the end of the game score is something like 21-20 (we are losing but its win by 2 and I whip a little three pointer for the win. As I'm getting ready to leave they claim that my team didn't win. I was like BRUH WHAT. We keep playing, scoring back and forth and finally they claim to have won (they didn't) But I don't like to argue so I just gave it to them and walked away. YOULL NEVER GUESS WHAT HAPPENED 2 DAYS LATER... The big guy (Elder Hansen) comes up to me at a devotional, shakes my hand and says "I doubted you at first but you are pretty crazy at ball, ya'll definetly won, not sure what my team was talking about" THE BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD I TELL YA... I KNEW IT BRUH hahaha

Portuguese is still pretty rough, just going to try my best and have faith that I can learn. It'll come with time (Pray for me please LOL)

On that subject, my portuguese tutor saw my quilt tie and loved it so I showed off some of my projects and she loved them also. The next day she came into class wearing a super sick dress that she had made. It was awesome.

 I'M NOT DEAD YET MOTHER FREAKER (but I'm about to be)  WHATS FETCHING GOOD? HOW ARE YALL??? (*Mom note: I talked to Noah for almost two hours today. He was in good spirits and seems to be doing very well. He said he bore his testimony in church yesterday (in Portuguese). From what I can tell he gets along great with his companion (even though the comp speaks very little English). Elder Vitti seems like a great guy. Prayers have been answered as we wanted him to have an excellent first companion. Elder Vitti hand sews neckties. He's my kinda guy! It was so nice seeing and talking to Elder Chapman.)   YO YO YO WHATS GUUUUUDDDDD??? CRAZY WEEK, GOING TO TRY AND SQUISH IT DOWN INTO AN EMAIL  Not sure what to say so this will be a super random email. Lol Over 24hrs travel time to get to Brazil. Insane. It sucked so much. Had a 9hr flight from Atlanta to São Paulo. I wanted to die. Salt Lake airport 12/3/24 headed to Manaus Brazil Bonus Photos not in email: (from Mom: Noah requested a denim tie. I made him one and shipped it out. BUT I mailed it to the wrong address. I was afraid he would never see it. Whoever lives at that address brought it to the MTC the night before Noah flew out. Prayers were answered. He got his tie, his consecrated oil vial and a letter from home just in the nick of time) (He brought 6 ties with him and accumulated a few extra while in the MTC)   YO? WHATSSSSSSGOOOOOOOD?? It's ya fav Elder, Elder Chapman  Guys... WE DID IT! The end is here... Today is the last day of MTC. So crazy. It's only felt like a week that I've been gone, and we ship out tmrw. Around 20 hours of flight and travel time. Pray for my mental sanity, please and thank you. It's going to be a long day. I am so very excited though. The start of a crazy adventure, lots of learning, improving, and growing. Super hyped to make some life long Brazilian friends, ...
