 HELLO ALL!!! ITS UR FAV MISSIONARY ELDER CHAPSTA 


Very solid week guys. Besides the fact EVERYONE IS SICKER THAN A DOG. We are still going to class while sick so it kind of sucks, BUT we have to learn somehow. I have a runny nose, headaches, a cough and stomach problems. Makes it hard to focus. It's a pretty sweet gig (save me)

My dad and momma have been sending me some freaking FIRE ties in the mail. (The entire district is jelous) Like my fault my mom and dad are so much better AND cooler than yours (Shoutout mom and dad love you so so much ya'll are the best) - Anyway, one of the ties is from Guatemala and came with a business card with a picture of the family that made the tie on it. I am keeping that picture. Me and Elder Talley have a running joke that they are my family. Anytime a new teacher comes to our class he grabs the picture and says "Su Familia" and points at me and names off my Guatemalan family (Umber, Greg, Olivia, Zane, and Adley)(I'll Include a picture of them at the bottom) (For some reason mom is Umber) Anyway, the teachers always do a double take and see if I'm brown hahaha. Well after that I said I was trying to get my family "a carto Verde" - New teacher then says "OHH muito legal" (Very Cool) - I said no definetly not legal. hehehe (I've lost my mind)

The Portuguese is still really rough, but getting maybe slightly better everyday. I've accepted the fact that I'm just not a fast learner. It'll get better I'm sure, especially when I get down to Brazil. Speaking of which, MY VISA IS HERE ON TIME, and I will be headed to Manaus on December 4th. So very excited. I'm tired of this nasty, freezing weather, and trashy food. My lips are no longer dead but now my knuckles bleed so that nice, and yes I tried lotion, it only made it worse.

I've been making some friends here as well. Mainly some guys from a district in our branch that is going to Brazil as well. Really cool dudes. Elder Franciscotty and Elder Bergsten. They definetly make the MTC more fun and its always a good time when I get to hang with them so I try and sit with them when I can (Get a little break from my wack district) OH and Elder Bergsten discovered that we can watch "The Chosen" on the Bible app so I'm so excited to watch it #Blessed

I don't really have much else to say but I love you guys so so much, you are awesome and loved. Keep trying your best, the Lord loves effort. I'll keep all of ya'll in my prayers, please continue to keep me in yours <3

 I'M NOT DEAD YET MOTHER FREAKER (but I'm about to be)  WHATS FETCHING GOOD? HOW ARE YALL??? (*Mom note: I talked to Noah for almost two hours today. He was in good spirits and seems to be doing very well. He said he bore his testimony in church yesterday (in Portuguese). From what I can tell he gets along great with his companion (even though the comp speaks very little English). Elder Vitti seems like a great guy. Prayers have been answered as we wanted him to have an excellent first companion. Elder Vitti hand sews neckties. He's my kinda guy! It was so nice seeing and talking to Elder Chapman.)   YO YO YO WHATS GUUUUUDDDDD??? CRAZY WEEK, GOING TO TRY AND SQUISH IT DOWN INTO AN EMAIL  Not sure what to say so this will be a super random email. Lol Over 24hrs travel time to get to Brazil. Insane. It sucked so much. Had a 9hr flight from Atlanta to São Paulo. I wanted to die. I sat next to a Peruvian dude and he told me to be careful in Manaus because I'm white, so thats nice (send help) We landed and met the missionaries that have been here for a while. They are all ...

Salt Lake airport 12/3/24 headed to Manaus Brazil Bonus Photos not in email: (from Mom: Noah requested a denim tie. I made him one and shipped it out. BUT I mailed it to the wrong address. I was afraid he would never see it. Whoever lives at that address brought it to the MTC the night before Noah flew out. Prayers were answered. He got his tie, his consecrated oil vial and a letter from home just in the nick of time) (He brought 6 ties with him and accumulated a few extra while in the MTC)   YO? WHATSSSSSSGOOOOOOOD?? It's ya fav Elder, Elder Chapman  Guys... WE DID IT! The end is here... Today is the last day of MTC. So crazy. It's only felt like a week that I've been gone, and we ship out tmrw. Around 20 hours of flight and travel time. Pray for my mental sanity, please and thank you. It's going to be a long day. I am so very excited though.
