 YOOO WE MADE IT TO THE MTC!!!!!!

Well, Elder Chapman is alive and... well? not really sure how I feel quite yet.

SO SO SO busy ya'll. Hasn't even been a week and I feel like I've learned so much. Its actually insane. Super stressed and worried about everything BUT, it seems like it might get better. I don't know though hahaha.

MTC is very interesting... Lotta cool people, lotta weird people. Some of those weird people being my district... they are okay just a little bit much. Not just some of the time. ALL OF THE TIME BRUHHHH. Definitely testing my patience but we ball so it's fine. Just like 4 weeks left. I think I can manage.

My comps: Elder Talley and Elder Brown. What a trio. Elder Talley is from New Mexico, and hes fairly chill... for some reason half the stuff he says is in a German Accent "Because it's fun" Gets a little annoying sometimes but I'm learning to tune it out. But yeah other than that he's alright I guess. Elder Brown is from Mississipi. He's lowkey rude about some stuff for absolutely no reason, and likes to talk A LOT. You make one comment and he just starts yappin. Once again testing my patience but I'm starting to not worry about anything but myself (kinda hard when I have these goofballs stuck to my side 24/7) (Pretty sure they'd shower with me if I let them.)

The food: Okay. It's a hit or miss everyday. Sometimes its pretty valid, sometimes you wonder if its even legal for them to serve it. They have Kalua pork, rice and mac salad most days and, it's not half bad so that mainly what my diet consists of. Oh and the food kills my stomach, so just imagine walking around doing classes all day wanting to die... that's basically what it's like (I'm being a baby)

Portuguese: DUDE I FREAKING SUCK AT THIS!!!!! It's so bad, I'm not sure what's wrong with me. It just doesn't make sense and my memory is awful I guess. It's all good though I'm sure I'll catch on eventually. Just going to take more time and practice. (Keep Noahs langauge learning in ya prayers please and thank you)

Gym: gym is pretty good, had everything I need, it's just hard to find the time to lift because the schedule is so full. Going to try my best to not get fat hahaha (Shouln't be too hard with this food)

Spiritual stuff: Totally learning and growing a lot, as well as getting better at teaching. Me, Elder Talley and Elder Brown had a "Helping Others" appointment (basically a mock lesson you give to someone pretending to have questions about the church, and they gice you a score) (I dread them because they are scary) BUTTTTTT, before the lesson me my comps said a quick little prayer and you'll never guess what happened. WE ACED THAT MUTHAFREAKA. Got 100% and it was only our second time doing it. The Spirit was strong and everything we said was so good, and all of our inputs worked perfeclty together. It was pretty awesome and felt really good to find out we did so well. It's only up from here guys.

WHYS IT GOTTA BE SO COLD HERE???!!! I am dying guys. I packed for Brazil, not freaking cold Mormon land. Thank goodness I have a singular rain coat that's barely keeping me alive (Shout out PaPa for the coat) but I should be getting some more warm clothes in the mail (Shout out Mombo)

ALSO WHY IS IT SO DRY???!!! Chapped lips and dry skin... It hurts to talk bruh, and chapstick ain't doing it for me... It legit hurts to talk hahaha (its not funny please send help I wanna cry)

Well... that's about it for now...

MISSION FROM HELL

 I'M NOT DEAD YET MOTHER FREAKER (but I'm about to be)  WHATS FETCHING GOOD? HOW ARE YALL??? (*Mom note: I talked to Noah for almost two hours today. He was in good spirits and seems to be doing very well. He said he bore his testimony in church yesterday (in Portuguese). From what I can tell he gets along great with his companion (even though the comp speaks very little English). Elder Vitti seems like a great guy. Prayers have been answered as we wanted him to have an excellent first companion. Elder Vitti hand sews neckties. He's my kinda guy! It was so nice seeing and talking to Elder Chapman.)   YO YO YO WHATS GUUUUUDDDDD??? CRAZY WEEK, GOING TO TRY AND SQUISH IT DOWN INTO AN EMAIL  Not sure what to say so this will be a super random email. Lol Over 24hrs travel time to get to Brazil. Insane. It sucked so much. Had a 9hr flight from Atlanta to São Paulo. I wanted to die. Salt Lake airport 12/3/24 headed to Manaus Brazil Bonus Photos not in email: (from Mom: Noah requested a denim tie. I made him one and shipped it out. BUT I mailed it to the wrong address. I was afraid he would never see it. Whoever lives at that address brought it to the MTC the night before Noah flew out. Prayers were answered. He got his tie, his consecrated oil vial and a letter from home just in the nick of time) (He brought 6 ties with him and accumulated a few extra while in the MTC)   YO? WHATSSSSSSGOOOOOOOD?? It's ya fav Elder, Elder Chapman  Guys... WE DID IT! The end is here... Today is the last day of MTC. So crazy. It's only felt like a week that I've been gone, and we ship out tmrw. Around 20 hours of flight and travel time. Pray for my mental sanity, please and thank you. It's going to be a long day. I am so very excited though. The start of a crazy adventure, lots of learning, improving, and growing. Super hyped to make some life long Brazilian friends, ...
