I'M GOING TO FREAKING MURDER PATRICIA

 WAIT NO, DONT WORRY-

Patricia is just that idiotic fetching white cat. That's right. We named her and I'm murdering her. She bit my ankle and she's a stupid ugly rat. (I'm sorry Patricia. I'm kidding. You are beautiful and perfect <3).

How's it going guys? How're you feeling? What're you thinking? Is the end of the world soon?

WHAT THE FLIP IS GOING ON!!! Elder Chapman is back, and in this week, I can't remember a single thing that happened but I'm going try! Bare with me, I once again didn't write throughout the week so this is going to be a little choppy. Elder Ellis and I are absolutely demolishing this area (in a good way), so we are extremely busy all the time and I haven't been able to prep any emails.

So to start of the week, on PDAY we received information that I would be on a division with a Zone Leader... FOR TWO DAYS. I had to pack a freaking bag and move to a different area for 2 nights and it actually turned out to be a lot of fun. I was with a Zone Leader named Elder Martin. He's a really cool dude, super funny and guess what else? Really good at the Kendama. He actually had an almost brand new one, so I traded him one of my ties for it. It's Kendama USA brand so it was definitely worth the trade, though I will miss my Guatamalen tie. (rip).

Anyway, nothing too crazy happened with Elder Martin but we got a lot of work done and I learned a lot. We met up with this one lady and her "boyfriend" to teach them a couple of lessons. Their relationship is super bad... and she's wanting to leave him but doesn't know what to do. She told us she feels like it would be best if they split up (she literally told us this in front of him which is wild), and that she really wants to get baptized. She told us about how much she enjoyed church, our lessons and our testimonies. It was pretty awesome. She's super sweet and just today I found out that her and her daughter were baptized!!! Freaking awesome. She must have left that guy. Good for her lol.

Elder Ellis and I are going to get at least 6 baptisms this transfer. We are absolutely working our butts off. We already have two- yesterday we baptized a lady named Rosa and her boyfriend Aladilsom (not really sure how we were able to do that but I guess they don't live together). It was super awesome but as I was like announcing their names as they entered the font the stupid members of the ward (my bad I should not say stupid), would not shut up. Even when I said "excuse me" (obviously in Portuguese), the fetching people kept talking. It kinda pissed me off. But we got them in the water and all was well. After we had a big ward lunch, and Elder Ellis and I payed a lady in the ward to make a huge cake. It was an amazing cake but there was so many people that Elder Ellis and I had to share one slice of it. Sad times but hey we fed a bunch of people with it. A very well spent R$120...

RANDOM STUFF:

1. I was doing pull-ups at the house and the bar fell and I almost died.
2. Met Elder Afutiti and I love the guy. Super fun to hang with.
3. We made homemade bacon pizza and it was so fire. I'm literally Master Chef.
4. Elder Ellis and I explored the jungle.
5. Elder Medina is opening up and he's been cool to talk to.
6. There's a family of 3 we've been teaching. They own a restaurant. Pizza and burgers. Everytime we visit they give us food. The burgers are literally perfect- homemade bread, patty, fried egg, ham, cheese, lettuce, and homemade mayo. They even grill them after putting them together. On top of that they are super cheap. We got 12 of them for like $10 USD. One of the best burgers I've ever had.
7. Elder Ellis caught a bird.
8. The rain has been really crazy.
9. We invited a lady that owns a tiny garage market to church and she actually came so that was sick.
10. We had 101 people at church on Sunday and 11 of were non-members.
11. Understanding Ellis is still a daily challenge.
12. Theres so much that happened this week but I'm forgetting everything some how.
13. I'm joining a Brazilian gang and we are selling black tar heroin.

QUOTES OF THE WEEK (4):

“What if I just licked your foot?” - Elder Afutiti

“Chappy Bappy” - Elder Campbell

“Don't let me out of the house, I’m going to baptize everyone.” - Elder Afutiti

“I need you to Samoan Slam these guys” - Elder Campbell - (talking about Elder Afutiti baptizing people).

SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK: John 15:15

“Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.”

I like this one. Christ guides us. We know that he wants the best for us. He is our friend.

THATS IT THIS WEEK, there's actually so much that happened I just kind of forgot and I'm too tired to think. There's probably a crazy story that happened and I don't remember. All good. Love you all. I hope all is well. Keep being great. Keep loving. You got this. Read your scriptures and pray please. God loves you, I love you. Until next week... PEACE <3.
